Najafa

Dahabiya. Operated by Nour El Nil.

Sailing, one source  checked 12 Sep 2026

One source says this vessel is sailing and we have not found a second. We never infer that a boat is in service from the absence of news about it.

Our view

high comfort

Najafa is a 2025 hull with the fleet's best family room and the second highest price in it. Against Poppee it is a year newer and 250 euros dearer with the same layout, which is a narrow argument either way. It has no independent record at all, so buy it on the operator's reputation rather than on evidence about this boat.

Who it suits

  • Families of four, the Deluxe Suites are two rooms with a private salon and take four guests
  • Travellers who want the longest hull in this fleet at 60 metres
  • Anyone who wants a 2025 build
  • Groups of up to 24 taking the whole boat

Who it does not suit

  • Anyone who came for quiet, 24 guests is the fullest this fleet gets
  • Wheelchair users and anyone who cannot manage stairs
  • Travellers who want a second opinion, Najafa was built in 2025 and no dated guest review names her
  • Anyone who wants a pool, the operator mentions none anywhere
  • Guests who need a confirmed room count, the operator's own booking card says nine rooms and its boat page says ten
Service style
Family run crewed sailing boat leaving Esna on Mondays for a fixed five night route, sold direct only, with one guide for the whole boat.
The cabin we would book
A Deluxe Suite. Each is two rooms with a private salon and takes four guests, and it is the only room type in this fleet built for a family rather than a couple.
Nearest alternative: Poppee
Two 60 metre hulls a year apart with the same layout of 10 rooms, 24 guests and Deluxe Suites. Najafa is the 2025 boat at 7,050 euros, Poppee the 2024 boat at 6,800. There is very little else between them. See its record →
Everything in this box is opinion, not a sourced fact, and we say what it rests on: desk research only, by Christoph Paterok, 12 September 2026. Nobody here has sailed this vessel. Read it as a careful reading of the published record, which is what it is.
Published rate
€7,050 per cabin, whole cruise

Shown in the currency the operator published it in, on the basis the operator sells it on. We do not convert currencies and we do not divide a package total into a nightly rate, because both would produce a number nobody quoted. See how this compares on the rates page.

What we could not establish

Every empty cell above has a reason. These are the reasons for this vessel, written down at the time the record was made, including the places where published sources contradict each other.

The operator contradicts itself on cabin count. The Najafa boat page and the fleet index both list 2 Panoramic Suites, 2 Deluxe Suites and 6 Luxury Rooms, giving a total of 10. The search card for Najafa reads 9 Rooms, while the identically configured Poppee, Roman and Adelaide cards each read 10 Rooms. This appears to be an operator typo on the search card, but it is unresolved. No independent second source exists for the cabin count, rates or operating status.

Najafa was built in 2025 and has almost no third-party coverage. i-escape returned an HTTP 403 and no dated guest review naming Najafa was found.

The operator publishes no crew count, no refit year, no deck count and no flag or registration for any vessel.

No pool or jacuzzi is mentioned anywhere on the boat page or in the FAQ. The pool field was left empty rather than set to none, because the absence of a mention does not confirm the absence of a feature.

Charter is whole-boat only and charter pricing is not published, so the charter rate is not listed. The charter minimum cabin count is also not listed. Were it to be derived, it would follow the cabin count, which is itself disputed.

Deluxe Suites exist on this vessel, so the fleet-wide rule for Deluxe Suites applies here. Each Deluxe Suite comprises two rooms with a private salon and cannot accommodate more than 4 guests, with no extra bed possible above that number.

Rates are published per room for the whole five-night cruise, not per person per night.
